Strong Performance From Porzingis And White

Kristaps Porzingis Powers Celtics to Victory in Return

Strong Performance from Porzingis and White

The Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, thanks in large part to a strong performance from Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White. Porzingis, who was making his return to the lineup after missing over a month with a knee injury, scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. White added 15 points and hit four 3-pointers.

The Celtics shot the ball well from beyond the arc, making 16 of 41 3-point attempts. Porzingis was a big part of that success, hitting 3 of 8 from deep. White also hit 4 of 9 from 3-point range.

The Celtics' victory was their fifth in a row and improved their record to 46-25. They are now just two games behind the Bucks for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

Porzingis Provides Energy Boost

Porzingis' return to the lineup was a big boost for the Celtics. He provided a much-needed presence in the paint and helped to open up the floor for the Celtics' shooters.

"He was great," Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said. "He gave us a lot of energy. He was active on the boards. He was making shots. He was doing a lot of good things for us."

Porzingis said he was happy to be back on the court and that he is feeling healthy again.

"It felt good to be back out there," Porzingis said. "I'm feeling good. I'm getting my rhythm back. I'm just trying to help the team win."
