SWPC Michigan
Residents across the state will have one of the best chances to see the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, on the nights of May 10 and 11, according to the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC).
Lake Superior beaches make great viewing areas for the northern lights in the Munising area, including Miners Castle in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
