Aggies Defeat Grahovac, Advance to Championship Series
Kent's Home Run Seals Victory
Texas AM second baseman Kaeden Kent delivered three hits and four RBIs, including a two-run blast in the seventh inning to put the opening game of the College World Series out of reach.
With the victory, the Aggies clinched their first national championship appearance in program history.
After a scoreless first four innings, Texas AM got on the board in the top of the fifth on an RBI single by Kent.
The Aggies added to their lead in the top of the seventh when Kent launched a two-run homer to left field.
Grahovac went down swinging to end the game, giving Texas AM the win.
The Aggies will now face the winner of the other semifinal game between Oklahoma and Vanderbilt in the championship series.
