West Ham United claimed a famous 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday, with Beth Mead scoring twice on her return from injury.
The Hammers took the lead in the 10th minute when Mead converted a penalty after Vivianne Miedema had brought down Adriana Leon in the box.
Mead doubled her tally just before the half-hour mark, firing home from close range after a cross from Lisa Evans.
Arsenal pulled a goal back in the second half through Miedema, but West Ham held on for a famous victory.
